A V OI D R

If today is a mirror of what is to come,
then I'd like one for the past.

If nothing else becomes what I've decided,
I will lay in error the rest of tonight.

Fragile in my indecision and insecure in thought,
second guess each hour that passes
upon my present heart.

We dine in elegance.
We dine in faith

If nothing else can be concluded,
this smile I've created will be
fake.

I can't imagine what you'd say, because I cannot imagine you. But I imagine that you'd be a proper talker, and an reputable liar. Guilt. I carry guilt and fucking insecurities where I run, and last night I ran to the end of the world, and it was dark, darker than I'd even imagined, and my imagination is drowning in the deepest of cellars, yet it was still darker.
